How to read this table
Specifications come from manufacturer listings and manuals, as summarised in our reviews. Limits can differ between versions of the same model, so confirm the weight limit on the product label before you rely on it. We show price tiers ($, $$, $$$) rather than prices because prices change often.

How to use the comparison
- Start with the weight limit. It decides how long a swing can be used. Enter it in the Fit & Longevity Calculator to estimate how long a model is likely to fit your baby.
- Then choose the power. Mains power suits a swing that stays in one room. Batteries suit a swing that moves around or travels. Our guide to plug-in and battery swings covers the running costs.
- Match the motion to your baby. Some babies settle with a side-to-side sway, others with a front-to-back glide. See baby swing motion types.
- Use the price tier as a guide, not a quote. Check the live price before buying.

Swing, bouncer, rocker or something else?
If you are still deciding which kind of product you need, these guides compare the types rather than the models:
- Baby swing vs. bouncer vs. rocker
- Baby swing vs. bassinet
- Baby swing vs. glider chair
- Alternatives to a baby swing
Before you buy any swing
A swing is for awake, supervised time and is never a place for sleep. Use the harness every time, and stop using the swing at the manufacturer’s weight limit or when your baby tries to climb out or can sit up unassisted, whichever comes first.
Comparison FAQ
Where do the specifications come from?
From manufacturer listings and manuals, as summarised in each of our reviews. We do not run a test lab. Our review method explains the sources and the checks in full.
Why are there no prices or star ratings?
Prices and customer ratings change constantly, and we cannot keep them reliably current, so we show a price tier and link to the retailer for the live price. Our own editorial score appears in each full review.
Which weight limit should I trust if sources disagree?
The one printed on your own product and in its manual. Manufacturers sometimes change limits between versions of a model, so the label on the swing in front of you is the one that applies.
